Code of Conduct

At The Ethical Design Network we aim to provide a welcoming environment that is memorable for all the right reasons. Our event has inclusivity at its very heart, and this centers around treating all individuals with respect and tolerance, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, ethnicity or religious views.

Be considerate. Be kind. Please treat each other as you would expect and wish to be treated.

We’re very proud of the environment that we’ve created at all previous Ethical Design Network – our events have a solid track record and reputation for being welcoming and friendly. However, if you do have a problem, see that someone else is having a problem, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the network organizers.

For our online events, contact one of the organisers. You can do so via private chat in our Slack channel or via email.

Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated at the Ethical Design Network . This includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior must immediately comply. If a participant engages in any of the aforementioned behavior, we may take any action we deem appropriate, from warning the offender to immediately expelling the offender from The Ethical Design Network.
